Glistening Trees

It is just so beautiful here with all the ice covered trees (I know the trees are NOT happy- they're bending over with the weight)... but they're glowing in the sunlight... yes, that bright ball in the sky is called SUN... for us in NY who need a reminder of what it looks like! We can't get too excited though- the arctic air will be back in a few days, with clouds and snow, to bring us back to the reality of March in upstate NY!

Eva's New "seat car"

Does anyone remember Collin calling his seat a "seat car"? Eva is taking after him more and more everyday, without even ever hearing him!! She got a new seat the other day... and it even has a cup holder!!! (thank goodness- I'm getting pretty sick of Ms. Demanding wanting me to HOLD her cup- even when I'm trying to drive! She never did grasp the fact that you could set it on your lap until you want another drink!) And look Jenn... a sandwich bag full of cheerios! We always did think alike!

Crazy Kid!

I can NEVER keep Eva out of the laundry!!! She plays dress up with everyone else's clothes... of course, I had to capture this one... one never knows when blackmail will be necessary!! Don't you love Mommy's "unders" and Daddy's miss matched socks!!

The Ice Storm

I'm sure all the rescue workers and emergency services were very busy last night, but the aftermath of power outages and car accidents is ironically VERY BEAUTIFUL...
I couldn't feel anything but PAIN in my fingers when I first came back in, but what gorgeous shots these are.
The sun is beaming and it's SO QUIET out there...
...and the only thing that has disturbed this snow- is CRAZY ole ME!

Eva's Hat

Eva decided she needed to "help" me with my new ebay listings, and model the hat from one of the outgrown outfits that I'm selling!! She's so cute in ANYTHING!!

Eva's Hair-Do (again!)

Eva had to check her hair in the mirror when I finished it today- we haven't done it like this before... two ponies AND leave it down... (of course, I'm new to doing hair- I got this one from McKenna when we went to visit Jenn and Chris in Long Island!!)

Sleepy Collin

Apparently this was NOT a very exciting book... he's so sweet when he's sleeping!

Busy Eva

Eva was so cute trying to match up her letters- I kept trying to get her to look at me, so I could take her picture, but she kept saying, "I busy!" and "I almost done!"
I finally got a "cheeeeese!" out of her! But her project was a little rushed, I think-- I guess she enjoys her puzzles even if the letters are all mixed up!!

Playing in the Snow

It's actually sunny and warmer today (notice I only said WARMER, not WARM!)... but it's all relative, I guess! It's practically a heat wave, so the boys needed to snowboard! Of course, Hooch gets all riled up- he kept biting my feet when I was trying to take pictures of the boys!

Wrestling AGAIN!

Another exciting day at a wrestling match... BJ didn't win, but he sure is improving! The opponent only scored 5 points the second match (a few more in the first one). Collin just doesn't give up for a second (just like at home!!!), and he also did better in the second match: 21-0!

GOOD JOB BOYS!!

Eva spent a little time wrestling too- as you can see in the pictures! She tried to wrestle some poor little girl's stuffed animal away from her!!... and kept trying to instigate a match with her brothers! Good thing we have Kate to occupy some of her time!

Snowmobiling

Part of the beauty of living in the country is going out to your yard at nine o'clock at night and riding the snowmobile... and no one gets mad at you for making too much noise! Eddie brought the kids over to ride, but I think he's the biggest kid of all! (the picture on the top right shows how much air he got jumping over the snow covered dirt piles!) BJ learned how to drive- and I had my memory refreshed... I can't believe I went outside of the house dressed in camo!! I have NO IDEA where my snow attire is, since I haven't worn it in three years- and I felt the urge to play too! So Brian gave me some of his hunting gear to bundle up in.

NOTE TO ALL THE OUT-OF-TOWNERS: it's 11 degrees outside!!!!

(No Martha- I haven't been drinking my bath water.... but I could really use some WINE!!!)

Eva's closet

I'm pretty sure that my Mom is the only one on the planet that wants to see a picture of Eva's closet (the queen of organization... all right, maybe Martha would want to see it too!?!?) We now have lots of space for clothes- even play dress up clothes on the bottom closet rod. And we put a mirror up next to the closet for her to check herself out in! I couldn't get her to stop looking at herself to take a picture, so I asked her if Mommy was in the mirror. She gets a kick out of that!

P.S. You have to zoom in on Eva's face in the top picture- her faces are so funny!

Movie Star!

What a ham! This is another one of Eva's "take my Pit-chure" moments... who can say no to that!

Catch of the Day

Check out BJ's BIG fish!! I have a feeling that he had to have some help bringing this big boy in!! Papa, Grama and BJ went fishing in the bay today-- LUCKY boy I'd say!

What a lucky kid that BJ is!! We're all sitting here in the snow- and he's livin' it up on the boat and out to dinner!
