Our Trip to Maine

Potty Time

I know- I'm a terrible mother for posting a potty picture- but I thought it was funny! (You can't SEE anything!)... the book was funny!

Sunflowers

When they came and dug up the bulldozer, they left an ugly dirt area-- so I threw a whole bunch of wildflower seeds on it. And now I have the most beautiful field of sunflowers and a thousand other flowers... and gourds! I have no idea where they came from but we have hundreds of gourds growing! I guess we're always full of strange surprises!!

Rainbow

Eva was squealing at this sight yesterday- what a beautiful double rainbow from our front yard!

Baseball Trophies

BJ and Collin are in Florida now- but the day they left for Papa and Nana's we had our picnic. They will add another trophy to their collection! This photo is with our friend- Coach Chris.

Auburn Doubledays

Both BJ and Collin's teams had their buddy nights at the Doubledays field- and Abner was there, of course!

BJ's a hitter this year!! Their team did so well- and they're growing so fast.

We all had a great time at our pigroast graduation party... food, volleyball, horseshoes, bonfire, fireworks, a little rain-- but it was still good!

BOY DO I HAVE SOME CATCHING UP TO DO!!! Thanks for waiting for the updates, while I stop over in the "LOONY BIN" for a while!! We're still moving stuff from our Auburn house-- NOTE: Brian was right... I AM a pack rat! Mom has been such a huge help- besides... she loves to bag up garbage!!

Eva in the Dog Bed

We babysat for Max last weekend- and his bed we the most interesting to Eva! She fits perfectly! Of course, poor Max would just take his toy and leave the area!

Baby Birds

The nest is empty now... I took this photo a few hours before they all flew the coop! I was laughing about how "overflowing" they seemed to be!

BJ's 5th Grade Graduation

I can't believe how OLD BJ is!! (and Alex too!!)
We had lots of people come for just our two guys! Aunt Vaughn & Uncle Ben, Grammie Joyce, Mom & Walt, Aunt Donna & Uncle Gary, Jeremy & Jill and us, of course... Jill's parents and Alex's other Grandma came too!
Somehow we didn't get a picture of Aunt Donna and Uncle Gary- probably because Aunt Donna was behind a camera too.
The last picture is BJ with his teacher, Mrs. Dietsche and principal, Mr. Seamans. It was a good show- with a DVD of school happenings from the year- then the kids sang and they announced the awards. BJ received the Math award, a D.A.R.E. award, the creativity award for art, and a band award. We are SOOOO proud of him!!

Little Pool

We had to go to the little local hardware store to get some plumbing parts- and they had these little pools out front. It was entertaining to the kids and didn't empty our well ('cuz it's SO small!!!) It's really fun to play with the hose while it's filling too!

Painting the NEW Room!

The boys were a GREAT help painting their new blue room! Collin was in charge of the paint brush, BJ was in charge of the small roller, and Mommy used the big roller. After one coat of paint in the main part of the room, the boys were in charge of painting the closet, while I put the second coat on!!!

Baby Birds

Our insulation babies have hatched- such a cute pile of fluff and beaks!

After transporting handfuls of dirt, Eva decided that Gammie's shoe was a much more efficient dirt holder!!

Water Girl

Eva's just as happy as can be- even with COLD water!
Grama and Evee fed the ducks- ducks are the greatest animal ever! And at our house they say"wack, wack, wack!" Eva also helped Papa move some rocks around and precisely place her cinder block seat!
