Graduation Party

Aunt Sandy and Lindsey playing with Eva- Aunt Sandy took it as a personal challenge (and won!), that Eva wouldn't go to anyone but Mommy and Daddy yesterday. She was being a little shy.---- Then we have the next picture- Travis and Brian- the Boston Red Sox and Yankee rivalry. The kids and Brian always joke and pick at each other about who's winning- Aunt Mary gets a little SERIOUS sometimes though!----At the bottom left we have the graduates- Ryanne and Randi. Ryanne graduated high school and sister Randi graduated from college this year!---- And on the bottom right are Randi and her boyfriend Nick. He was a little late, but he brought her beautiful purple roses, so he's back in the good graces, as you can see from the photo!!

Eva & Margaret Again!

They're starting to be able to play now- it's so CUTE! They usually chew on each other and steal toys from each other! They hug and kiss, too! Usually their heads are slimed with the other one's baby kisses. 

Our Florida Outfits!

Grama Colleen sent us "Florida outfits"-- aren't they CUTE! Brian (a.k.a. Oscar the Grouch) is the only one that grumbled about wearing big orange flowered clothes! BJ's been wearing "Florida clothes" his whole life- and Collin's bringing his with him to Florida tomorrow. And I'm sure Eva thinks we're all nuts! Jill took the pictures for us- and we decided that the one she snapped of us all "fixing" each other was the most real family picture of them all! (Don't worry Grama- I sent you real size pictures on your email- I know you hate these collage pictures!) 

The Sprinkler

We all got soaked as you can see! It was another hot one today in NY... and we love it! Mommy and Daddy worked today- but we had some fun with water in the evening. Eva was curious to find out why her brothers were laughing and jumping around... she was watching with Daddy from the porch... then Mommy traded Daddy, and he took pictures. The water was ice cold- but Eva still wanted to grab at it. It was funny to see her face when the sprinkler tilted our way and soaked her head!! Nothing that a nice warm tubby wouldn't fix- not that she really cared anyway!

Eva's just doing a little reading! It's getting more and more difficult to take pictures of her- she moves TOO FAST! But I just wanted to give a quick update photo... today was a half day of school for the boys and BJ has his vision therapy- and then Brian has a softball game (the boys don't have games tonight, so I actually get to watch one of Brian's... well sort of... I still have to keep track of the kids!)... it's now or never for getting on the computer, though!! I had to pay some bills, so I figured I would have a little fun with photos while I was online! Back to the grindstone though... hope to post again soon. (It's the last day of school tomorrow.)

Eva had her own little bumper boat ride at Aunt Donna and Uncle Gary's today- as you can see she had a great time with it!


She also had a little cake and ice cream- Aunt Patti "helped" her! 

The Drive In

The boys were very goofy-- but the had a great time at the drive-in. They did a little dancing before the movie started (the speakers were on a dance music station). Little white boys, with no rhythm-- but the parents thought it was hilarious! We saw Cars and X-Men. They curled up in blankets- some of them got a little cozier than others though- Luke and Collin fell asleep as you can see! Eva and Margaret were great too- just a couple little fusses (mostly Eva being tired!). We brought her portable crib and she went to sleep outside in that! She loves outside. We basically moved into the drive-in, with all our furniture! We had a great time! 

Eva Discovers Grass

Eva had a great time with the grass at baseball... she got SO dirty crawling around... but we don't care! That's what the tub and spray-n-wash is for!!! (FYI: All grass stains came out of the pants-- and we "filed" the socks!!) We discovered that if we plug the mouth, she doesn't eat the grass, she just studies it! 

Baseball

Baseball is life (and life is hectic!)these days!! School gets out next week... I can't decide if it will be more or less hectic than it is now... but it's a fact! We still have baseball and vision therapy until the end of July. It's the juggling of three kids during summer break that scares me!!! (This is my first summer of that.) BJ doesn't have summer school this year- so that's a relief. He's actually noticed a huge difference since we started vision therapy. As a matter of fact-- I actually caught him reading the other day... on his own... without me harping on him to read!! I let him know about the practice work I have planned for them (for summer), and he was fine with it... especially after I showed him a cool bookmark that he'll receive after he reads one of his chapter books. Apparently dragons are still cool, and they MOTIVATE! It should be a fun summer- now that it's finally here. We have lots of things planned. Our annual trip to Maine is set for the end of July and the boys go to Florida in August. (Collin actually goes at the end of June, too.) Lets just hope that the boys can hold off on beating on each other, for me to remain sane, long enough to enjoy the summer!! 

Papa & Grama

Eva had everyone wrapped around her little finger this weekend! The boys were off playing in the woods most of the time we were at Grandma Carol and Dozer's house. Eva got a little spoiled... and she had lots to eat! No clams for Evee- but Mommy thought they were yummy! Daddy, BJ, and Collin hate clams, so we don't get them very often. We're always sad to see Grama go home- we won't see her until August now. Eva might be walking by then!! We were hoping her tooth would come in for Grama, but it didn't. So close- we'll let you know as soon as we see one! Can't wait to see you again! 

Crawling

Eva is an expert at crawling now... and boy is she QUICK! We transformed her under sea toy, that Nana and Papa got for her, into tunnel form today. It was so fun to crawl back and forth through it... and sit inside of it!

Eva's Toy Basket

Eva's toy basket seems to be getting a little too small- but still big enough to hold her!!!! Of couse she didn't just climb in there- Mommy put her in (and Daddy said to put her dolls in with her!)- but she thought it was funny. Every thing is pretty funny these days! 

Eva in the Pool

Auntie Martha took these great pictures of Eva in the baby pool at her house! What a day... lucky Evee was in the pool on the back deck with Auntie Martha, while Mommy and Uncle Tom were roasting upstairs workin'!! Poor Eva had to nap outside (with a fan) because we were making so much noise! Oh to be a kid again- when dropping your pacifier was the worst thing that happened all day!!! It was definately a hot one though- and Auntie Martha knows how to make the best of it! Thanks for the great pictures!
